The Swedish Postcode Lottery and their many ticket buyers have made a major contribution to transfrontier conservation development in southern Africa. Since 2010, Peace Parks Foundation Sweden has received just over SEK 122 330 000 from the Lottery. Of this, SEK 33 979 900 was donated towards Special Projects, that contributed to the improved livelihoods in Simalaha Community Conservancy, the implementation of the successful Rhino Protection Programme, the promotion of conservation outcomes while supporting community livelihoods with the Herding for Health project, and most recently towards educating and empowering 100 000 children as changemakers through the Peace & Changemaker Generation project in partnership with the World Children’s Prize.
Thank you very much to the Swedish Postcode Lottery and the lottery players for their continued support of Peace Park Foundation’s work.
