Peace Parks Foundation has decided to act pro-actively in addressing unethical behaviour, theft, fraud or related activities and has joined forces with Deloitte to combat such practices.
The Peace Parks Foundation Ethics Hotline, independently operated by Deloitte, has been established with the aim of enhancing an honest work ethic, while simultaneously providing employees, stakeholders and the public, with a mechanism to bring any unethical business practices to the attention of management.
The hotline serves as an independent conduit between management, employees and stakeholders. All information will be treated confidentially, and the anonymity of the complainant will be protected. The calls / emails will be analysed regularly and, where necessary, independent investigations will be launched.
Hotline Procedures
The complainant may choose to remain anonymous. The call operator is to be provided with full details in respect of the fraudulent, corrupt or unethical practice:
- Who was involved, doing what?
- What has happened?
- How is it done and how often is it done?
- Where is it done – exact location or place?
- When was the incident observed – dates and times?
- Value involved – estimated monetary value?
A reference number will be given ‐ this is confidential and to be used by the complainant for follow‐up at a later date, in order to add additional information to the original report, or to receive feedback on the matter reported, if requested.
